Caged Bamboo - Earrings (Black or White)

These earrings are inspired by the Feng Shui plant called “lucky bamboo”. It was created in hopes of bringing good luck and fortune to those who wear it.

In a “lucky bamboo” plant, the spiral shapes are created by regularly rotating the plant so that it will grow towards the sunlight. 

In order to create this piece, I imagined what if this bamboo was rotated 175 times over a 2 year period. The result are these exotic and organically shaped earrings.

These earrings are bold, beautiful, and very comfortable to wear.

These earrings are part of my “Eco Friendly” collection where the pieces are inspired by nature and crafted in an environmentally friendly manner that generates minimal waste.  They have been fabricated from strong nylon fibers which were fused together by a laser.

Afterwards, they were hand dyed (white version was kept natural) and finished with a clear coating to protect it from stains.
